3 Tips To Reduce Your Trackable Fingerprint And Throw Government Spies & Digital Criminals Off Your Trail- There Are More Than 30 Million Surveillance Cameras In The US

I found this statistic to be pretty shocking…

Did you realize that you can currently be found in approximately 200 different databases?

And that there are more than 30 million surveillance cameras in the US?

That’s one camera for every ten Americans… and there are more cameras every day.

Add to that the advancements in facial recognition technology and you can see why so many patriots are becoming more and more concerned about living life “under the radar” and avoiding the increasing rate of government surveillance infringing in our lives.

Here Are 3 Tips To Reduce Your Trackable Fingerprint And Throw Government Spies & Digital Criminals Off Your Trail…

how_to_stop_digital_spying

1. Break your normal patterns (like how you get to work, where you shop, how you dress, etc).

Even “disguise” yourself simply by having a few different hats and wearing sunglasses to be less identifiable.

It’s not that you’re trying to necessarily lose some black-ops assassin hot on your tail…

…it’s about training yourself to avoid predictable patterns that we all fall into which will drastically shield you from all sorts of crimes you may not even see coming.

2. Turn off your phone’s “location finder” that allows your whereabouts to be more easily traced.

Leaked reports reveal that the government is paying close attention to the activities of those it feels are “persons of interest”.

Namely, gun owners, 2nd Amendment supporers, military, and anyone who’s concerned about an over-reaching government.

Turn off your phone’s “location finder” when traveling to locations such as gun shows, the range, or any political events or rallies.

3. Use cash “selectively”.

Some stores (like Starbucks) have been warned about “suspicious persons” who may use cash a lot, and asking them to report these persons because they might be “domestic terrorists”.

I know it sounds crazy, but it’s absolutely true.

Use credit or a gift card at stores like Starbucks to “blend in” with the other customers.

However, for purchases that you don’t want to display a “trend” on your credit card records (I’m talking about things like ammunition), use cash and buy in smaller quantities.

There’s a LOT more to knowing how to live a lifestyle “under the radar”…

It’s not about being “paranoid” and you don’t have to go completely underground like some secret agent.

It’s a matter of being “less tracked” than the other people who don’t follow these simple tips and are more of a target.

Change just a few habits and you can virtually disappear from government spies and others.

VERY IMPORTANT ALERT: The Global Reset Will Come Like A Thief In The Night (It Is Absolutely Unreal How The World Pays so Much Respect to Mediocrity Or Even Incompetence When It Comes to Running The Financial System.)

First take a look at one of the most shocking videos in the world! This video actually shows us what the secret of the Trump family is related to their expressive health!!!

As the world edges closer to the next crisis, today the man who has become legendary for his predictions on QE and historic moves in currencies, told that the global reset will come like a thief in the night.

Where have all the dollars gone? Long time passing
Where have all the dollars gone? Long time ago
Where have all the dollars gone? Uncle Sam has spent them everyone
When will he ever learn? When will he ever learn?

The Global Reset Is Coming

Egon von Greyerz:  “When Pete Seeger wrote the famous song “Where have all the flowers gone” back in 1955, little did he know that the total US debt, which was a few hundred billion dollars at the time, would, 63 years later, be almost $70 trillion.

But there is no reason why Seeger should have known. He was a singer-songwriter and his legacy will last a lot longer than Nixon’s, Greenspan’s, Bernanke’s, and all the other players that have contributed to this massive growth in credit and destruction of the dollar. While Seeger’s song – a work of art – is likely to be around for at least another 50-100 years or longer, all the opportunists that have destroyed the US economy, and thus the world economy, will soon be forgotten…

Egon von Greyerz continues:  “It is absolutely unreal how the world pays so much respect to mediocrity or even incompetence when it comes to running the financial system. Central banks and their heads have created this monster balloon which is now waiting to be popped. They have given the world the impression that they have been instrumental in saving the world economy. The central bank chiefs that managed to retire before the balloon burst can count themselves lucky. In my view, the luck is now in the process of running out for the present ones.

These chiefs believe so much in their own ability as saviors of the world that they don’t understand that all they are doing is creating a much bigger monster by printing and printing and printing. They are so arrogant that they can’t even call their actions by an honest name. What they are doing is sheer Money Printing or MP. But instead they call it QE or Quantitative Easing. What an absolutely ridiculous name that is designed to hide their own inadequacies as well as cheating the people. Nobody understands what QE means and that is, of course, deliberate. They simply confuse the people and mislead them into believing that their hocus pocus is actually some alchemistic formula that creates eternal prosperity.

These central bank heads are now so confident of their control of the situation that they are turning the QE to QT (Quantitative Tightening). That is, of course, utter and sheer arrogance. QE hasn’t worked. All it has done is to turn a fragile financial system into the biggest bubble in history. Even with zero or negative interest rates combined with massive MP, real GDP is not growing (measured with real inflation). Also, several dollars, euros or pounds of credit expansion are required in order to create just one dollar, euro, etc, of GDP growth.

Since QE, MP, or whatever you call it, hasn’t worked, why the hell does anyone think that QT will work? This is like taking away the punchbowl from a chronic alcoholic who will die from his drink or die due to lack of drink. And it is exactly the same for the global economy. It will collapse with more QE and and will collapse from QT. So QE / QT = TE (THE END).

“When will they ever learn, when will they ever learn” that you can’t create prosperity by printing money? And remember that money printing is not just what central banks do directly. Money printing also means credit expansion by banks, credit card, and finance companies, etc. All of these lend out 10-50 times the deposits or capital they receive. There is, of course, only one way to learn a lesson properly, which is the hard way. And the hard way in the case of the world economy is that the monster bubble pops. And like with many bubbles, this one only contains hot air.

Thus, the $2.5 quadrillion monster bubble contains just empty promises that all disappear when the bubble is popped. These promises are not only words, but also $2.5 quadrillion of monetary promises or IOUs. To keep the bubble from deflating, central banks have had to constantly pump it up bigger and bigger. So more and more debt will fill the bubble together with inflated assets and even more empty words from bankers and politicians to make it all look plausible.

The debt explosion is not just a US disease. It is a US-led global phenomenon that has infiltrated most nations around with a central bank that can print money. Just look at the chart below illustrating how global debt has tripled since 1999 from $80 trillion to $240 trillion today.

GLOBAL DEBT: The $240 Trillion Nightmare

When the global debt and asset bubble pops, the world will find out that there was nothing inside. Of course, there are real assets and real wealth, but the problem is that when the bubble pops, all the debt will implode because no one can repay it, and with that, a lot of the assets will become worthless.

The only question is if stocks, bonds, property, and other assets, will go down by 75% or 95%. In my view, the biggest bubble in history will lead to the biggest collapse. There is no one that can save the world from the biggest financial calamity in history. MP (QE) will have zero effect except for causing temporary hyperinflation. A lot of assets will decline by 100%, such as money in the bank, bubble companies which are heavily leveraged – like Tesla – and many others. Even very valuable assets will be able to be purchased (in today’s money) for pennies on the dollar, euro or pound.

Paper money has always come and gone throughout history since no fiat currency has ever survived. For 5,000 years gold has represented stable purchasing power and the only money that has lasted for thousands of years. This is why countries that understand the importance of physical gold continue to accumulate, countries such as Russia, China and India. In the meantime, the rest of the world has invested less than 0.5% of world financial assets into physical gold.

Just look at China’s astonishing gold accumulation in the chart below. Another 140 tonnes was purchased in June, taking the total up to 16,000 tonnes with virtually all of it acquired since 2007.

China’s Gold Purchases Since 2007 Exceed 16,000 Tonnes!

Like A Thief In The Night
When the monster, ‘everything’ bubble pops, so will the paper markets in gold, silver, and other precious metals. The size of this market is at least 100-times bigger than the physical market. The rise of this market is very much linked to manipulation of the precious metals by central banks, the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), and bullion banks. When the paper metals markets pop, there will be no gold (or silver) offered at any price. This is the time when overnight or over a weekend the price will go from $1,250 to $10,000 or even $100,000. This might sound totally unreal to some, but this will be the most likely consequence of the monster bubble popping and everyone in markets running for the exit.

Most people believe that the status quo can go on forever and that central banks will continue their ridiculous game of pretending that air is real money that can create wealth. The few people who believe that there is a serious risk that the system will not survive in its present form, and that their assets — be it cash, bonds, or stocks — could decline substantially in value, must seriously consider insurance.

The next decline in financial markets is likely to start in late 2018 or early 2019. And this will not be an ordinary decline or normal correction. Instead, it will be the beginning of the biggest global bear market in history. And this time central banks and governments will fail in their attempts to save the system. They will, however, certainly print a lot of money and try to reduce interest rates. But as global bond markets collapse, rates will go up rapidly. This means that bonds and stocks will both crash along with most assets.

The only real insurance against what is coming is physical gold and some silver, obviously held outside the banking system. There is absolutely no argument against holding precious metals to protect against the risks in the financial system. The only question is, should you hold 10% of your financial assets in gold or more than 50% as some of our wealth preservation clients do? In my opinion, this is the time in history that you need to be fully protected. The reality is that each individual needs to decide for themselves what full protection means. Just remember that this time it will be costly to underinsure. Hopefully no one reading this will ask when it is too late: “When will we ever learn?”

If you have any dissatisfaction with my content, you can tell me here and I will fix the problem, because I care about every reader and even more so about your opinion!

Life or Death Choices: 10 Professions To Learn From To Survive The End Of The World (It Is Estimated That ONLY 1% Of The Population Actually Goes to Much Of An Effort to Prepare And Store Up Enough Of What They Need to Survive A True Calamity)

Prepping has always been about the worst-case scenario.

Maybe that’s because those really scary disasters motivate us more or maybe it’s just that in preparing for a true “the end of the world as we know it” (aka TEOTWAWKI) event make us ready for anything else we might encounter.

Regardless of the reason, there are enough of these major catastrophes in the world’s history to show us that they really can happen.

While most people who have lived on the face of this earth haven’t had to deal with anything more than a regional natural disaster, some have had to deal with much worse. To the people of Europe who survived World War II, that was a life-changing event. The same can be said for those who lived through the Great Depression or the Black Plague.

Real disasters happen. What skills would help you survive?

When I was growing up, the biggest risk we faced was that of thermonuclear war. The Cuban Missile Crisis, in 1962, was probably the closest we came to total annihilation back then. I was as glad as anyone when the Berlin Wall came down and the Cold War ended.

But we are now in another cold war and it is looking much more like it’s going to turn into a hot war that that one ever did. Should that happen, or even worse, turn out to be an EMP attack, we could easily find ourselves living in a post-apocalyptic world; a world in which we’re going to have to do everything without the benefit of electric power.

In such a case, people will be scrambling to learn the necessary skills to survive. But even more than that, they’ll have to learn how to do the things necessary to rebuild society. We are too accustomed to our technology and our comforts to just give up on them. People will be wanting things the way they are used to, or at least as close to that as they can get them.

With that in mind, it only makes sense to learn the necessary skills for living in a world without electricity. This doesn’t just mean surviving for ourselves, but helping others to survive as well; something that is normally outside of our plans as preppers.

I realize that most of us live and operate under the philosophy of taking care of ourselves, our families and our survival team. If all we’re concerned about is survival, that makes sense. But if we want our children to have a better life than that, enjoying some of the benefits we have today, we’re going to have to do more than just survive. We’re going to have to be ready to rebuild our world and as much of the technology that drives it as we can.

That job will probably fall to us, rather than to others, simply because we are the ones who are going to survive. So, we not only should be learning survival skills, but others which will help us to make things work.

Native American Doctor

Medicine is going to be one of the biggest problems in a post-apocalyptic world. While most people would die of starvation, many will also die for lack of medicine.

Today’s pharmaceutical industry depends on supplies that come from all over. Without transportation, they won’t have the materials they need to make the medicines that modern society depends on. Even if they could, without transportation those medicines wouldn’t get to you and me.

When the medicines that are locally stocked in hospitals and pharmacies are used up, there will be no more. The only medicines that will exist will be those that nature provides. The doctors of the American Indians knew those medicines and some still use them. If you can find one of them, and learn their craft, you’ll have one of the most useful skills that exist.

Even if you can’t find a Native American doctor, you could still learn about their medicine. There is a growing movement of people who believe in herbal medicine, which is based to a large part of the same roots as those Native American doctors’ medicine.

While you probably wouldn’t learn everything that a Native American Doctor could teach you, you’ll end up a whole lot better off, with a whole lot more information, than what you have now.

Chemist/Pharmacist

Pharmacists are actually trained for much more than just counting out pills, they are highly trained chemists. More than doctors, they know how different medicines interact and how they react once in our bodies.

Some pharmacists even know how to make medicines. That’s what you’re looking for: a pharmacist who can show you how to make your own penicillin, ether and chloroform will be giving you information that can save lives.

In addition to medical chemistry, there are probably other things you can learn from these people, such as how to make biofuel and other useful chemical substances.

Midwife

Everyone knows what the “world’s oldest profession” is; but I’ve never heard agreement on what the second and third oldest are.

Personally, I think that the midwife has to be pretty high on that list, as the “oldest” would necessitate midwifery. So even if something like farming or shepherding would beat it out (Able was a shepherd and Cain a farmer), midwives have been around for a long, long time.

As long as babies are being born, there will be a need for midwives. This will be especially true in times when there aren’t enough doctors to help women through childbirth. In a post-apocalyptic world, there’s a much greater possibility of women using midwives, than doctors.

Amish Farmer

Modern farming has become industrialized, with massive corporate farms and lots of expensive equipment. Even smaller farms depend heavily on equipment, with the tractor long ago having replaced the horse or oxen.

But the Amish never made that transition. Today’s Amish farmers largely do things the way their ancestors did them, still using horses as the main source of power on the farm. This gives them an incredible advantage over the rest of us, who don’t have the slightest idea of how to do things without gas engines and electric power.

Should we find ourselves on the receiving end of an EMP, the Amish will be less affected by it than any other group of people in our country. That’s basically because they don’t depend on electricity or the modern electronics that the rest of us use.

Their communities will thrive, while the rest of the country is dying. Spending time with one of these farmers and learning the methods and tools they use, would prepare you to be able to feed your family and many more, once the brown stuff hits the rotary air movement device.

Rancher

Ranching and farming aren’t the same thing. Throughout the time of the Old West, these two groups of people fought for the use of the land. That’s because the best farmland was also the best land for raising cattle, or should I say the best ranchland was often the best land for farming.

Of all the animals that mankind has domesticated through the years, cattle give us the most meat per animal.

Another way of putting that is that cattle give us the most meat for effort expended. That makes them the perfect sort of animal to raise for meat, assuming you’ve got enough land to raise them.

Snake-Eater

In the military, all “special action groups” are collectively known as “snake eaters.” It doesn’t matter if you’re talking about the Navy’s SEALs, the Army’s Special Forces or any other group, they all fall into the same general category.

Snake eaters are the best of the best. In the Army, Special Forces is not only the group that is called upon for unconventional warfare (guerrilla warfare), but they are the ones who are sent to other countries, in order to train their militaries. In fact, Special Forces got their start that way, first as the Jedburgh Teams in World War II and then as advisors in Greece and elsewhere.

Many people think of these snake eaters as expert survivalists. But that depends largely upon the environment you are talking of. They aren’t experts in the sense that you and I are trying to be, but rather in surviving any combat action. Their superior training makes them the best soldiers to have on your side, should things become violent.

Spending time with any snake eaters, learning their combat skills, will greatly increase your chances of not falling prey to the two-legged predators that will be out in force after a disaster strikes.

Hunting Guide

Hunting may not be the most efficient way of finding food after a collapse, but it may still be a very necessary part of our survival. But what most people consider hunting today is sitting in a deer blind, waiting for deer to start munching on the seed corn they put out.

While this may be an efficient way of hunting, it’s highly dependent on having the right equipment and the right place. I don’t think that’s something that any of us can count on in a post-apocalyptic world. Rather, we’re going to have to go hunting the old-fashioned way, tracking animals, learning their habits and then laying wait for one alongside a trail.

Skills like that aren’t something you can learn from just any hunter, as they probably don’t know them either. Rather, you’re going to need someone who started hunting before people used corn and deer blinds to hunt.

That’s why I recommend a hunting guide, rather than just any hunter. They’re more likely to know the skills you’ll need.

Blacksmith

If you’ve ever read any of my other post-apocalyptic articles, you know that I believe strongly in the profession of blacksmithing.

Before the dawn of the industrial age, the blacksmith made just about anything that could be made out of metal. From armor and weapons to shoeing farmer’s horses, the blacksmith was the man to see.

There are few blacksmiths in the world today; mostly because modern industry has replaced them. But when industry is taken away, then what? Who will be able to make the tools and other things that we need? It will have to be blacksmiths, or someone with very similar skills.

My father learned how to be a blacksmith, once he retired; apprenticing with a lifelong blacksmith who was a true artist of the trade. Unfortunately, I only learned a little of it from him, and don’t have a forge and anvil to practice on. If I could find one around where I live, I’d love to spend some time in his shop, learning what I could.

Mr. Fix-It

You probably know someone who can fix just about anything; a Mr. Fix-It (or perhaps a Mrs. Fix-It). These are some of the world’s most useful people and will probably be the true leaders of rebuilding society after a major disaster.

What makes these people so special is that they aren’t limited to just one trade, like many people are. Rather, they’re comfortable with any number of trades and even with fixing things that don’t fall within any particular trade. Whatever you need designed, built or repaired, they can find a way to do it; often a rather imaginative way.

I consider myself to be one of these people. Earlier in my career, I was a manufacturing engineer. Rather than just working in one engineering discipline, this forced me to do both mechanical and electrical engineering. I also took the time to learn how to be a machinist, mechanic and made many of my own prototypes.

On the side, I had a small construction company, along with a buddy of mine. So I’ve learned how to do a wide variety of things; becoming what we used to call, a jack of all trades.

Today I build a lot of my own survival gear. You can find countless examples of my work around my house. My garage hasn’t had a car in it since I painted one of them. Rather than being a garage, it’s actually my workshop. I figure that will serve me well in a post-apocalyptic world.

The Old Survivalist

Survivalism has changed since I got started in my youth. Back then we weren’t so focused on equipment, as methods. There just wasn’t that much equipment available; at least not compared to what we have available to us today.

So, you had to know how to do things yourself, rather than depending on having some sort of gadget to do it for you.

What this means is that those old survivalists were often trained much better than we are today, simply because they had to be. So they’re a fountain of useful information, if you can find them and get them talking.

Fortunately, most are willing to share what they know; so the real problem is finding them.

Government Potential Is Disastrous If Martial Law Is Activated- Best Safest Ways to Survive Martial Law If Is Declared (We Love Our Freedom And Liberty, And Certain Folks Will Not Bow Down And Take It Easy When Martial Law Is Declared.)

In these uncertain times, when the world seems to go mad, you can’t help but wonder how long until we will experience a martial law scenario.

One day we might have to live under such a scenario since it seems there are many SHTF events that would impose it. The current pandemic is just an example, and personally, I believe we were lucky so far that things didn’t lead to further chaos and social upheaval.

The United States has a certain history when it comes to martial law, and like many other nations, it will do whatever is necessary to defend its integrity (and protect?) its citizens. I believe we should all have a survival strategy if martial law will be upon us in the near future. (Also watch this video- The US Army’s Forgotten Food Miracle And 126 Superfoods That You Can Store Without Refrigeration for Years)

What is martial law?

To put it simply, martial law is the imposition of military rule and the occupation of the government over a specific region. It is declared when an imminent threat disturbs peace and order. Martial law can be declared during a state of war when natural disasters are too much to handle for local authorities, when a coup is developing or even when uncontrollable riots and protests affect an entire region.

When martial law is declared, everyone is expected to follow the same rules, no questions asked!

It doesn’t matter if you think what’s happening is right or wrong, and you have to give up certain civil rights for the good of the nation/state.

What Survival Secret We Lost To History

There are certain rights that will be suspended if martial law hits, such as:

  • Right of Information
  • Freedom of Expression
  • Right to privacy
  • Right of Habeas Corpus
  • Right to make choices

Those that are prepared and organized should be able to survive such a scenario without having their lives turned upside down. However, even for them, there are certain things that become mandatory under martial law.

How to survive martial law:

Being self-reliant

As preppers, we are already prepared to outlast various scenarios that may cut us off from the major supply chains. For most of us, it will be rather easy to survive when the government takes full control of food and supplies and their distribution.

As an average Joe, you should avoid waiting for handouts during a disaster or hope that some military rations will find their ways towards you, and you must have your own supply of food and water. Your supplies should last for at least six months if you don’t want to stay in line for help. Also, all your supplies will become government property if you don’t stockpile smart (more on that in the next paragraphs).

Being self-reliant under martial law means that you must have a method of producing your own electricity, the means to prepare and cook food, ways to sterilize water, and everything else that will assure the same level of comfort you were used to before martial law was declared.

Also watch- According to NASA, we’re going to face a 100-YEAR LONG DROUGHT.

Be ready to bug out

In certain cases, when you see the first signs of an impending scenario when martial law is imminent, you might want to bug out to a safe location, if you have one. If you manage to do so before roadblocks and checkpoints are installed, you might be one of the lucky few. If you’re not so lucky, hunkering down may be the safest choice for you and your family. This will be the norm for most folks living in densely populated areas.

If you plan to bug out, you should have everything ready to make a successful trip. This means that your bug out bag should be properly packed and updated for the season. Also, your bug out vehicles should be in good shape to handle the road ahead and eventual obstacles. I won’t get into details about what to pack in your bug out bag or vehicles since these are distinctive cases from one person to another. What I will stress is the need to have everything updated and make sure they function properly.

Stay safe during martial law

We love our freedom and liberty, and certain folks will not bow down and take it easy when martial law is declared. For some, being stripped of certain civil rights is unthinkable and unacceptable. Most Americans fear that giving someone absolute power will lead to mistreatments against the general public.

That being said, the safest course of action would be to avoid areas that are exposed to social upheaval and other scenarios that may lead to dangerous escalations. You will first need to protect yourself and what’s yours before handling any other thing.  There are various ways to protect your home when civil unrest is developing, and you can find a lot of information on Survivopedia.

Keeping a low profile is also recommended before you will get involved in matters that may not be a priority for you and yours. You will have the time needed to plan and act following your own belief system if you stay out of sight. You have to think before you act and decide on an individual case if you follow the rules or rebel against them. Don’t go with the herd and follow the curfew under martial law. Make sure you have all the means to protect yourself and survive whatever scenario unfolds.

(Also watch- Experts predict that an EMP strike that wipes out electricity across the nation would ultimately lead to the demise of up to 90% of the population.)

Get informed

When martial law is declared, the media and all the information channels will be controlled by the federal government. You might not get all the required information, and the truth may be filtered to avoid creating mass panic. While listening to official broadcasts will provide you with information and updates regarding the imposed rules, you might need to have a backup source of information.

A HAM radio is a great alternative, and the HAM radio community will take care of its own. They will provide all the “unofficial” information, and they will tell you things as they see them. It’s better to know both sides of a story before you decide if its ending is the proper one. We are bombarded by media propaganda on a daily basis, and the last thing you need is to have filtered information being delivered and remain misinformed during martial law. Information is key to your survival during an SHTF event, and you must always be aware of what happens around you.

Always be alert and improve your skills

This is a general rule for us preppers, and staying in shape, constantly learning, and improving our skills proves useful in any type of crisis scenario. Preparedness and our will to survive have to be backed up by proper knowledge and a good set of survival skills.

If you run out of food and water, or if you run out of guns and ammo, what will you do then? What happens if you get hurt by accident, or otherwise?

You need to be able to handle the above scenarios, and these are not things you can learn on the spot. One needs to prepare in advance and challenge his or her skills with every occasion or opportunity provided.

Take a first aid course, learn to cook without your stove, try to fish or hunt and practice any skill that you may think, one day, will come in handy. You will have to survive on your own during martial law, and the skills you have will make your life much easier. Also, consider that all the activities you do will leave you weak and tired if you’re not in good shape. You don’t need to become a couch potato when dealing with martial law, and you need to be ready for anything.

When you are tired and stressed, your judgment will get clouded, and you may end up making mistakes that will leave you injured or worse. You must avoid this at all costs!

Don’t be a lone wolf

Some desperate times require friends and teamwork to push through. Having an alliance may end up being crucial to your survival during martial law. I know a lot of people that have built a support system composed of friends and neighbors. Imagine if the current pandemic will prolong, and truckers fail to deliver their goods, do you think people will wait patiently, or will they do everything in their power to survive?

We’ve seen it before how desperate times create desperate people, and the same people that fought over some toilet paper will do anything to survive another day, including harming you and your loved ones. That’s why having a trustworthy network of people that share the same vision as you become mandatory.  A survival group can keep the neighborhood safe and still standing if they trust each other and if they share the same goal.

MUST WATCH- Major sites such as: BBC, FOX5, CNN, CNBC, NBC NEWS and many more are warning of an imminent collapse in the coming years!!!

Don’t share more than you have to

I don’t like to brag about my preparedness plans, and I don’t show off my stuff on the internet. I can’t comprehend the need some people have to brag about their prepping plans and show off all their supplies. Why would you make yourself a target and why become a “beacon of hope” when desperate people are roaming around. You can’t possibly hold off all the people, and you are putting yourself in danger for no reason.

Be smart and keep it all to yourself and talk about your prepping plans with your friends and family. Only with those people that you know for a fact they won’t report you to the authorities for hoarding tons of supplies. In a time of martial law, you can’t assume how things will play out, and oftentimes you have to be selfish if you want to survive. Be selfish about sharing information and supplies and keep only those that you trust close by.

Prepare your supplies for a home invasion

We’ve seen how a lot of people bought vast quantities of face masks, hand sanitizers, and other products that were in short supplies (and still are) when the COVID-19 hit the US. While these people were trying to get rich and profit from the distress of others, one thing should have been a wakeup call for many.

The fact that the government seized all their supplies should have made you think about what will happen when the situation becomes even more desperate than it currently is. When martial law is declared, hoarding food, guns, and ammo is restricted. It’s almost certain that the military will implement house to house searches without a warrant if things get grim.

They will locate and confiscate supplies, no questions asked, and they won’t think twice, no matter how much you beg them not to take them. As said earlier, you need to plan your storage properly, and it’s important to keep a lot of your stuff out of sight and store it out of reach or hide it on your property.

I’ve often discussed the “bait pantry” or “pantry decoy” method during various occasions, during seminars, on forums, and whenever I had the chance to do so. To explain it briefly, this method requires you to hide a small part of your supplies without much effort. Somewhere that is not obvious, and it requires some kind of effort to be discovered.

When someone discovers those “hidden” supplies, you will need to put out a show and act like your life depends on those supplies. Beg them to let you keep those supplies, cry and be as convincing as possible. This will make them believe that what they’ve got their hands on is your main stash, and they won’t bother into looking for your other supplies.

Act if you feel that’s the right thing to do

Under martial law, when the situation is escalating, and it may reach is peak point, some will have to take a stand. It is your God-given right to pick a side, and no one can take this away from you. However, before doing so, make sure you act calm and rationally upon it and, most importantly, that the action you’re about to make suits your personal beliefs and moral principles.

Also watch- On December 6th President Trump’s words shook the world.

Remain calm and plan your next steps carefully. It may be difficult to do so, but acting on an impulse may not end well. Panicking and irrational people are seen as a threat in general. During martial law, even the most prepared soldiers will choose to eliminate a threat rather than risking to deal with it and establish if force is justifiable or not. Restrain your emotion since this will make the difference between life and death.

Even more, taking a stand doesn’t necessarily mean you have to join “the resistance” or take your fight to the streets. There are various ways to fight for what you believe in without putting yourself in danger. You first have to figure out ways to make yourself heard without looking like a threat. Also, keep in mind that not everyone will find the courage to act when martial law is declared, and you may end up with no support when things get rough.

A last word

If you keep all the above in mind and act upon when martial law is declared, it will help you survive when the military takes over. Even more, plan things properly and consider the last advice when thinking about taking a stand. It will put things in perspective, and you will figure out your chances of making it out alive.

First Eight Places To Avoid Like The Plague When SHTF

To begin today’s article with a word of wisdom from our sponsor, everything in life is location, location, location.

Joke aside, an interesting issue to be addressed when it comes to prepping is which places are to be avoided after SHTF. The short story goes something like this, I mean this is the preamble: it is very possible for a catastrophic event to take place at some point in one’s life, whether you like it or not; it may be a large scale disaster of sorts, like a nuke strike, or an EMP strike, solar-made or man-made, courtesy of your local-crazy-nuke-armed dictator, or whatever natural extinction-level event, or terrorist attack.

The possibilities are endless.

Now, provided you’ve survived the initial “shock-wave”, you should concentrate your efforts on staying alive for a little bit longer, because, after all, there’s no fun in prepping and stockpiling gear and food and what not, if you’re not going to benefit from your efforts, right? It’s not about “he who dies with the biggest stockpile wins”, the trick is to stay alive, or at least to die last.

Hence, today’s article, which is aimed at trying to help you with the noble endeavor of saving one’s skin in the aftermath of WW3 or whatever catastrophic scenario you could think of.

The Number One Lesson

First world countries, like (parts of) the US, are awesome places to live when everything works fine and dandy. I am not talking about South-Central LA, or diverse neighborhoods in Chicago or Memphis, where crime rates are through the roof, if you know what I mean. The point is that our modern day uber-high tech society comes with obvious benefits. The caveat to living in a first-world country is that when everything is starting to fall apart, people are generally clueless with regard to surviving in third world conditions, i.e. without running water, electricity and things of that nature.

And yes, in a large-scale disaster, it’s very probable that electricity will go first, which means nothing would work anymore, since everything today runs on electricity, including your computer used for reading this article.

Also, since most of the US population is concentrated in a relatively small number of densely populated urban areas, it goes without saying that big cities are to be avoided like the plague in the eventuality of a SHTF event. Incidentally, almost every big city only has enough supplies to last for three days tops, and I am especially talking about food. The concept is that the food-delivery chain is never going to stop, the trucks will keep on hauling, hence nobody bothers to stockpile food anymore.

Obviously, in a serious crisis, life in a big city will become hellish rather quickly, as essential supplies are going to disappear fast (think about what happened this Black Friday, then amplify that by a factor of, I don’t know, 10,000 and you’ll start to get what I am talking about), people will get desperate for food and water (yes, your water utility company uses electrically powered pumps to deliver water to your faucet), and rioting and looting will become the new normal.

Naturally, it makes little sense to prepare (as in stockpile) large amounts of gear, including food, in a densely populated urban area. Since you’ll be the only one in “the hood” having emergency supplies of water and food and what not, you’d basically have a big-red TARGET sign painted all over your property. And soon enough, you’ll have to share your goodies with your local and not so friendly mob of looters. And that will get you nowhere, in terms of survival. Most probably, you’ll end up shot anyway.

So, if you’re all about “doom and gloom”, considering relocating from the big-bad city would make for a great idea. . And do it now, while you still can, until it’s too late.

The general rule of thumb is that big cities are to be avoided like the plague in SHTF scenarios. The good news is that the US has over 3000 counties, but half of the population lives in 146 counties, which means there’s a lot of “people-free” real-estate available for your bug-out retreat, where you can safely store food, water, guns, gold, bitcoin or whatever.

Joke aside, if you’re a city dweller, it would be a good idea to have a little shack in the woods, somewhere remote, in an area (scarcely)  populated by friendly conservative folks, who know how to hunt, and love God and guns.

The Infrastructure Issue

As cities are collapsing under their own weight, due to violence spiraling out of control courtesy of desperate and hungry mobs trying to loot to live another day, not to mention the potential for third-world diseases breaking out due to  failure of basic infrastructure (a lack of sanitation because garbage trucks will be missing in action, law enforcement/emergency services rendered useless and impotent, dead bodies piling up everywhere and all that nice stuff that happens when people go berserk), it would be problematic trying to escape to your bug-out location, even if you have a getaway plan.

The transport infrastructure will get gridlocked instantly, as hundreds of thousands of people will try to escape the city in the same time, hence major highways will be something like Tetris meets Frogger, if you know what I mean. Also, a large-scale EMP strike would render most of the cars useless, hence hundreds of thousands of people will find themselves stuck across the countryside, in/near airports etc. And yes, they’ll try to get home by any means necessary, even if “home” would make for yet another nightmarish sight. So, any major airport, city or harbor is potentially “verboten area”, as in you should steer clear (at least 15 miles, if not more) from such spots.

Generally speaking, avoid all transportation nodes and all urban areas, that if you’re prepping for that big SHTF moment. Military bases are included in the list, since they  make for obvious targets for terrorist/nuclear attacks.

If you’re trying to get out of the big bad city following a SHTF event, I’d reckon you already have an escape plan. Just in case, stay away from chocking points, which are the logical consequence of thousands of people trying to bug-out in the same time. Obviously, I am talking about causeways, tunnels, bridges, you know the drill. Also, when you’re putting together your getaway plan, steer away from obvious choking points, alright?

Hospitals and prisons are also to be avoided like the plague.

In a crisis, like an EMP strike, it’s very probable that prisoners will receive an instant pardon, due to a lack of electricity , which would render locks and alarms useless. Also, officers will most probably flee to take care of their own families. It’s the human thing to do, and this would result in desperate and dangerous escapees roaming around. You don’t want that near your property now, do you?

On the other hand, hospitals would attract huge crowds of people looking for help, and yes, in a SHTF situation, you don’t want huge crowds of desperate people near you, especially sick (as in contagious) people. Basically, any kind of place that is prone to attract crowds of people in a catastrophic scenario is to be avoided, including FEMA camps (people may try to get in to grab food, water etc), gun and hardware stores (for obvious reasons, think along the lines of Black Friday in Zombie Apocalypse), you see where this is going, right?

Bottom Line

Stay away from major cities, transport-infrastructure, military bases, FEMA camps, prisons, hospitals, choke-points and major stores. Keep in mind that the biggest threat to you in a SHTF scenario is, unfortunately, other people. I think it was Sartre who said: Hell is the others. It’s a sad but true assessment.

I hope the article helped. If you have other ideas, questions or comments, you know what to do.

Nuclear Threats and Alerts: Eight States That Pose Highest Risks Of Missile/Nuclear Strike

If SHTF, living in one of these states, may put you at the unnecessary risk of a potential missile or nuclear strike.

I’ve been studying nuclear warfare for quite a few years now. During this time, I’ve found that some states pose a much higher likelihood of becoming a target of war.

The enemies of the United States have one goal in mind, which is to destroy as many people as possible when they launch their attacks.

Luckily, we’ve avoided this thanks to a Military built like no other; the enemies know that messing with the United States is a terrible idea.

Nuclear warfare would decimate our country if our offensive systems failed when attacked. This would cause mass destruction and fallout in every corner of our nation.

Nevertheless, I’ve covered what to factor in when determining this and compiled the states that I believe pose the highest risk of missile or nuclear strike.

4 Factors To Consider

Population Density

The first thing that comes to mind when I think of what states are better or worse to reside in during war is population density.

States that have a lower population tend to be less on the radar vs. states that have ten to fifteen million or more people living there. The foreign enemies of the United States want to destroy as many people as possible when they launch their strike.

This is why residing in a state such as New York, or California puts you at exceptionally high risk for the chances of being hit by a missile or nuclear bomb. To avoid this, you’ll want to move to a state such as Montana or Maine.

These states are low-key and are not the first choice of a target for our enemies. Launching an attack on low population density states would be nothing more than a waste of resources for our enemies, and they know this.

Military Bases

If you’re at all knowledgeable about warfare, you know that military bases play a large role in where the enemies may launch a strike; but if you don’t, let me explain.

Military bases are our primary source of protection from both air and land invasion. If the various military bases were taken out, not only would we be more susceptible to land invasion, but air invasion as well.

In contrast, not all of our air missile protection systems are located near these bases; however, many of them are. So it only makes logical sense that areas with a high amount of military bases would be a priority target.

If you want to stay safe, or at least lessen your chances of becoming a victim of war, you should live in an area with as few military bases as possible.

Important Officials

In my opinion, the part that plays a massive role in determining the area of which seems attractive to attack via airstrike would be states of which many vital officials call home. A great example of this would be Washington, DC.

The enemies know that if our President or the Governor of New York is taken out that our government would be scrambled. It would undoubtedly cause havoc within our Military and cause many distractions.

Many of the officials live in Washington, DC, California, New York, and Florida, to name a few. A perfect example of this is when the united states took out Osama Bin Laden; once this operation was successful, his little army fell apart.

Imagine that scenario but on a much larger scale. However, we are considerably more prepared than Osama Bin Laden ever was. If you’re looking to avoid the chances of airstrikes, avoid the states listed below, if at all possible.

Fuel & Power

If I had to choose one thing that I thought would be one of the first things that could be destroyed via airstrikes, I’d say it’d be our fuel and power resources. Almost all of our transportation systems and power relies on electricity, gas, and oil, to name a few.

If these were taken out via airstrike, our country would come to a slow halt. This is also feasible via an EMP strike, which is essentially a nuclear bomb detonated in the sky, which would disable and fry all electronic devices, such as cell phones, computers, medical equipment, and much more.

This is a possible scenario and is much more likely to occur in states known for its power production, such as Texas.

The enemies understand that our reliance on these luxuries would cripple America if they were taken away from us suddenly, which is why it such a significant consideration for our enemies; this is why many people are beginning to build entirely off-grid homesteads.

8 States That Pose The Highest Risk

Washington, DC

The home of the President and the White House, Washington, DC, poses some of the highest risks of airstrikes out of all other states due to it being home to so many essential officials.

The White House does have, likely, the most sophisticated bunker system in the world. However, this does not mean the area is immune to war.

Washington, DC does have intelligent systems that can strike down incoming missiles. Still, they are not always accurate enough to target the rocket, and it should be remembered that they can undoubtedly fail.

The area is also home to millions of Americans, giving the enemies another reason to launch a strike. Destroying DC would lead to mass complications and unrest, and our enemies know this.

New York

If I had to choose a state that was most at risk of an airstrike, I’d choose New York. This state houses tens of millions of Americans and is home to many military bases.

New York is one of the most influential places globally, housing the One World Trade Center and many other critical buildings and operations important for the world.

As we know, the previous two world trade centers have already been destroyed, so it has already fallen victim to terrorism. If a nuclear strike were imminent, no one would have enough time to escape the strike.

New York is also home to many vital officials, which could be the motivation to target this area. It is well protected from air missiles, but as mentioned before, they are not always successful.

California

It’s a given that California is added to this list. This state is called home by over thirty-seven-million residences, making it the most populated state in the nation.

This makes it have an exceptionally high risk of becoming a victim of missile strikes. It does have in its favor a multitude of military bases, which could strike down an air missile.

Military bases are typically a good target for our enemies, so this is a sketchy situation. We can protect the state, but if the protective systems fail, it will result in mass destruction.

California is also home to several influential politicians and features many of our big tech giants and energy systems, which are definitely on our enemies’ radar.

Virginia

This was an easy decision to have added, mostly due to the dense amount of military bases near the Hampton area. There are nearly 20 all within a small space, which, if taken out, would cripple the state.

Virginia is also near Washington, DC. This means that if these bases were taken out, the protection for Washington, DC, would be cut in half. There is also an abundance of air-missile defense systems that can take out any incoming missiles.

These are used to protect not only Virginia, but Washington, DC, and the states surrounding it. The eight million residents are a motivating factor for our enemies as well.

I should note that when a nuclear bomb detonates, it releases a toxic gas called fallout. This can travel for hundreds of miles, wreaking havoc on people in other states, making Virginia a target in itself due to it being surrounded by highly populated states.

Florida

This state should not come as a surprise to you, but if it does, let’s explain why. Firstly, Florida is packed full of Military bases and features several space programs, including NASA, SpaceX, and more.

It is home to numerous influential politicians, including Donald Trump’s private residence. It is also home to over twenty million people, making it the third most populated state in the nation.

It’s well known that Florida is a significant tourist attraction for individuals all across the world and features many of the most sought-after vacation destinations, which means Florida could be used as a target to destroy an American symbol.

While states do not surround it, a nuclear explosion would decimate the entire state due to destruction and fallout. If you want to avoid experiencing nuclear war firsthand, stay away from Florida.

Nevada

This state only has a few Military bases, the largest being located in Las Vegas, employing over ten thousand servicemen and women. Something that it does have, however, is Area-51.

This is a secret military installation used to test unknown elements. Currently, there are no civilians that know of what occurs inside of this base. However, certain government officials do.

I think it’s possible that foreign nations, like Russia or China, know at least a little of what happens here, and I think it’s easy to agree that it’s likely weapons technology of some sort.

If Area-51 was destroyed, all of the technology and equipment is going with it. Las Vegas should be considered because it features some of the most sought after buildings in the world. The destruction of LV would lead to mass civil unrest.

Hawaii

Most people would call me crazy for adding this state in, but if you think about it, it’s probably in the top three most dangerous states to be in during the nuclear war.

For starters, it’s an island. This means that nearly one nuclear bomb could destroy the entire state. They do have anti-air missile technology, but as mentioned before, they can fail.

Fallout should also be considered because even if the missile was shot down, if it were shot down far enough into our atmosphere, it could still deliver fallout and the effects of an EMP.

There are also over ten military installations in Hawaii. On top of the two million people living there, it brings a huge motivator for our foreign enemies to attack the area.

Texas

Texas is believed by many, including myself, to be a great state to stay in when SHTF due to its exponential amount of natural resources, relaxed Gun laws, and a plethora of available land to purchase.

However, it can also be the most dangerous in a specific SHTF scenario: nuclear warfare. Texas is home to many military bases, anti-air missile defense systems, and atomic weapons.

If foreign nations ever attacked a state, Texas would likely be one of them. Besides, it’s the second most populated state.

The most significant motive to destroy Texas would likely be to disable a huge military and nuclear presence, that if destroyed, would make destruction a much easier goal for the attackers. In most other cases, however, Texas is great for most other SHTF scenarios.

Verdict

Nuclear warfare is probably the worst disaster imaginable. There have been nuclear detonations previously, such as the one that destroyed Hiroshima, but the nuclear bombs that we’ve made today surpass anything ever detonated before.

Nuclear weapons, when detonated, cause massive explosions near the detonation site and spread toxic chemicals called fallout for hundreds of miles, wreaking havoc in every living thing it touches.

If you happen to live in one of these states, consider moving to one of these states, or look into building a bunker. Fallout bunkers are also available to the public but are not something to count on.

The best way to stay safe from a nuclear blast is to seek shelter in the most robust building or shelter available, as far down or underground as possible, while blocking all airways.

The Worst Places In The US You Wouldn’t Want to be If You Live In Or Are Going Through It- These Places Are Really Dangerous And You Can Risk More Than A Stolen Wallet If You Are In The Wrong Place!

More recent figures suggest that violent crime seems to be decreasing from the recent peaks, with the local police department using new camera technologies such as ‘Flock’ cameras to bring rates down. These cameras can detect license plates of cars that are of interest to law enforcement and alert the police instantly.

I study these trends, so I can give you the real statistics. Too many writers focus on the most populated cities and fail to consider all U.S. cities.

Readers often ask me such a question- which are the most dangerous places in America?

Of course, since I am asked such a generic question, it depends on what you consider dangerous. You’re probably thinking of crime rates. But I once wrote a about why Miami, Florida, is statistically the city in which you are most likely to die an untimely death, including characteristics such as vehicular accidents, weather, and crime. East St. Louis ranked second, largely based on crime.

How to best answer the question

The following research confirms that East St. Louis is probably the most dangerous place in the U.S. for criminal activity, which I’ve often written about. It dispels the common myth that Camden, New Jersey, and neighboring Philadelphia are among the most dangerous American cities (but they certainly have their problems). New York and Los Angeles aren’t even close to the most dangerous U.S. cities based on crime rates, which debunks another widely held myth.

Murder rates

If you only want a list of the top 10 U.S. cities with the highest homicide rates (based on the most recent data), here they are. East St. Louis is double Gary’s murder rate!

1.) East St. Louis, Illinois (164.88 homicides per 100,000)

2.) Uvalde, Texas (144.58 homicides per 100,000)

3.) Jackson, Mississippi (102.16 homicides per 100,000)

4.) Gary, Indiana (83.42 homicides per 100,000)

5.) St. Louis, Missouri (66.48 homicides per 100,000)

6.) Baltimore, Maryland (58.46 homicides per 100,000)

7.) New Orleans, Louisiana (57.83 homicides per 100,000)

8.) Detroit, Michigan (48.86 homicides per 100,000)

9.) Baton Rouge, Louisiana (38.26 homicides per 100,000)

10.) Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (35.65 homicides per 100,000)

Of course, the tragic massacre at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, has skewed their homicide data over the past 365 days (as I write this in 2022). But if you weren’t in that building on May 24, 2022, your chances of being killed in Uvalde are practically 0%. This actually serves as a metaphor when it comes to American crime, something that is very centralized and almost never puts the average American at risk, nor visitors from other cities, states, or countries.

Violent crimes

If you consider danger to include murders and non-fatal assaults, here are the top 10 U.S. cities with the highest violent crime rates (again, mostly occurring in localized areas):

1.) Detroit, Michigan (2,475 violent crimes per 100,000)

2.) East St. Louis, Illinois (2,155 violent crimes per 100,000)

3.) St. Louis, Missouri (2,145 violent crimes per 100,000)

4.) Baltimore, Maryland (2,021 violent crimes per 100,000)

5.) Memphis, Tennessee (2,003 violent crimes per 100,000)

6.) Kansas City, Missouri (1,724 violent crimes per 100,000)

7.) Milwaukee, Wisconsin (1,597 violent crimes per 100,000)

8.) Cleveland, Ohio (1,557 violent crimes per 100,000)

9.) Stockton, California (1,415 violent crimes per 100,000)

10.) Albuquerque, New Mexico (1,369 violent crimes per 100,000)

Random violence

In a typical year, about 91% of the homicides in the U.S. are committed by someone the victim knew. In general, if you don’t consort with nefarious characters, your chances of being murdered, or even attacked, are extremely low. Even when crime skyrocketed in 2020 during the pandemic, only 1 in 170,000 Americans were killed by a stranger. The vast majority of those deaths by stranger occurred in impoverished neighborhoods, while very few American citizens living outside those neighborhoods ever become a victim of a violent crime. It’s an unfortunate issue.

On that note, one of the scariest statistics is to rank the top 10 U.S. cities with the highest rate of random attacks by an unknown assailant, eliminating the majority of crimes which are committed by individuals known to the victim and focusing on our worst fears, the unexpected random assault. I’ve estimated the rate of assaults, rapes, robberies, and carjackings committed by assailants unknown to the victim. This data changes dramatically from the previous list of cities with high violent crime rates.

1.) Baltimore, Maryland (1,021.0 violent crimes by strangers per 100,000)

2.) Cleveland, Ohio (828.9 violent crimes by strangers per 100,000)

3.) Oakland, California (723..9 violent crimes by strangers per 100,000)

4.) St. Louis, Missouri (719.7 violent crimes by strangers per 100,000)

5.) Memphis, Tennessee (620.0 violent crimes by strangers per 100,000)

6.) Albuquerque, New Mexico (606.2 violent crimes by strangers per 100,000)

7.) Milwaukee, Wisconsin (563.4 violent crimes by strangers per 100,000)

8.) Minneapolis, Minnesota (556.8 violent crimes by strangers per 100,000)

9.) Chicago, Illinois (504.4 violent crimes by strangers per 100,000)

10.) Cincinnati, Ohio (497.5 violent crimes by strangers per 100,000)

When crime between family members and affiliates is eliminated, Baltimore and Cleveland rocket to the top, Chicago and Oakland jump into the top 10, and Detroit drops to 11th. Most surprisingly, East St. Louis and Gary plummet beyond the top 25. Although, I suspect much of that is influenced by the fact that few outsiders in their right mind would intentionally travel into East St. Louis or Gary, both notorious places for citywide danger with essentially no safe sections. So maybe it isn’t a surprise that two smaller towns where few people dare to go has crimes that predominantly involve individuals who know one another.

Poor health

All of the rankings above take into account places that are dangerous for anyone, including both residents and visitors. I consider that true danger. But if you’re curious about the cities that are most dangerous for only their residents, with visitors not necessarily incurring any sort of elevated risk, we can analyze the top 10 U.S. cities that are most dangerous for their residents based on the probability of heart disease, the number one reason for death in the U.S.

1.) Flint, Michigan

2.) Camden, New Jersey

3.) Reading, Pennsylvania

4.) Youngstown, Ohio

5.) Detroit, Michigan

6.) Cleveland, Ohio

7.) Dayton, Ohio

8.) Trenton, New Jersey

9.) Canton, Ohio

10.) Gary, Indiana

Even more shocking, these are the 10 U.S. cities with the lowest life expectancy for their residents.

1.) Beckley, West.Virginia (average resident loses 6.14 years from the American life expectancy)

2.) Gadsden, Alabama (average resident loses 6.12 years from the American life expectancy)

3.) Anniston, Alabama (average resident loses 6.11 years from the American life expectancy)

4.) Charleston, West Virginia (average resident loses 5.83 years from the American life expectancy)

5.) Pine Bluff, Arkansas (average resident loses 5.52 years from the American life expectancy)

6.) Ashland, Kentucky (average resident loses 5.49 years from the American life expectancy)

7.) Springfield, Ohio (average resident loses 5.22 years from the American life expectancy)

8.) Florence, South Carolina (average resident loses 5.03 years from the American life expectancy)

9.) East St. Louis, Illinois (average resident loses 5.02 years from the American life expectancy)

10.) Alexandria, Louisiana (average resident loses 4.54 years from the American life expectancy)

Conclusion- Typically within the U.S., the farther you can stay from the mega-cities, the safer you are. These seem to be the locations of the majority of violent crimes, property crimes, and murders.

All in all, if we can boil it all down to one point, it would be this: It’s safer away from the city.

What are your thoughts on all this? Are there other variables you believe we should have analyzed? Do you think this is a pretty fair shot given the current data at hand? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!

First Places In America to Go During An Apocalypse- With Illustrations

Where is the best place to live in the US during and after the apocalypse?

While trying to figure out the answer, I’ve looked inside of prepping blogs to find a consensus for the criteria known to be essential for any place to survive in during the wake of such an event. That is, any event that can potentially destabilize society to the point of no return to normal any time soon. It will be important for you to have whatever supplies you need ready ahead of time before you travel to your destination. So start getting ready.

That being said, the criteria for the best area to survive in can be broken into three categories:

1. Human factors, 2. Natural factors, and 3. Economic factors

Human Factors:

  • Low population density (40 people per sq. mile or less)
  • Distance to major/minor cities (50+ miles away)
  • Distance to military bases (50+ miles away)
  • Distance to nuclear power plants (100+ miles away)
  • Distance to interstate highways
  • Low poverty rate
  • Low violent crime rate

Natural Factors:

  • Easy access to fresh water
  • Abundance of wild game
  • Low natural disaster risk
  • Dense forest cover
  • Adequate soil textures
  • Adequate rainfall
  • Low drought risk

Economic Factors:

  • Higher job growth
  • High abundance of non-renewable natural resources available for extraction (coal, oil, natural gas, metals and minerals, lumber, etc.
  • Higher educated citizens

Now that we know what to look for, I’ll narrow down a map of the U.S. by one category at a time using other maps I have compiled. The “Orange” counties are those disqualified, which will then become and remain dark gray when the next factor is applied. For simplicity reasons, we’ll focus on the continental U.S. But before starting I will say that the state of Hawaii is probably a fairly safe place to be considering its isolation, moderate climate, and the Polynesians have managed living there by themselves for millennia.

The first most important thing is population density or lack of it. This is common sense since you don’t wanna be around massive numbers of unprepared people when SHTF. Ideally anywhere under 40 people per square mile is best. The blue shaded counties are where to go.

Next is proximity to major and minor cities. A distance of at least 50 miles away is best.

Stay out of counties that contain Interstate highways as the most desperate people will use them traveling in search of resources.

We are now isolated from any major threats from large populations and groups of people. But, there is still the possibility of martial law being put into effect. So it’s best to keep our distance from military bases.

And nuclear reactors, in case of meltdowns occuring during grid failures.

The last places to “watch out” from are areas with already high poverty and crime rates. When they no longer can depend on Uncle Sam for their existence, it will get ugly. Avoiding these areas may potentially eliminate our options in the Southern states but I would like to keep them open for now for climate reasons. We’ll use a 25% poverty rate limit for the south and 20% everywhere else. (The south includes WV, southern MO, and eastern half of OK and TX)

I won’t make any exception for violent crime rates. Those will be applied evenly across the board. Lighter counties are safer.

We are now looking at a map of what are probably the “safest” counties in the United States. But now that the potential for human threat is minimized, we must figure out where is the best place to settle down based on what resources there will be available. The most important thing is easy access to fresh water always within close proximity.

Next in my opinion is wild game abundance, which you need for food during winters and harsh growing seasons, and for protein in general.

You wanna be safe from natural disasters such as tornadoes and hurricanes. Given recent events I think it’s safe to eliminate the lone county remaining in Florida.

This is a potentially controversial assumption, but the amount of forest cover over an area may be a good indicator for how much local resources there will be for us to utilize for our way of life. Everything from ecosystems that support wild game and edible plants to having plentiful amounts of lumber if needed (especially in the winter). Forests are just as useful as farmland. At least 25% forest cover is beneficial.

We need to grow food. This requires a number of things. Most important of them are good soil textures and rainfall. Drought-prone areas must be avoided. Warm climate isn’t necessary and depending on your environment you can expect to have different lengths of growing seasons. I will subtract all these variables all at once from the next map.

The best soil textures are ones with a close to even mixture of sand, silt, and clay, together known as loam. This mixture holds nutrients best. Anywhere on the scale from sandy loam to clay loam will work for most vegetables, fruits, wheat, nuts, and other produce.

This map is just for reference. Knowing your plant hardiness zones is key to scheduling your growing seasons with which types of produce you can expect to grow based on the average climate of your zone. Generally speaking, your options get wider the more south you go with more varieties of produce able to grow in warmer climates. There is also the potential for yielding not just one but two or more crop yields in a year with longer growing seasons in warm climates.

Rain should be 20 inches or more a year. So anything from dark green (40″+) all the way to light orange (20″) is good. Of course avoid regions that most often experience drought.

With all agricultural factors considered, this is what’s left on the map.

A variety of choices are left spanning different parts of the US. These are places that have everything we “need” to survive. You can perhaps at this point choose to pick whichever is closest to where you currently live. It is arguable that depending on the nature of the apocalyptic event the local economy may or may not make a difference on your quality of life. But let’s see where factoring it leads us.

A strong local economy in a rural area can indicate the presence of a stable natural resource based economy be it agriculture, mining, logging, etc. These resources can potentially be very important for the economic growth of the area and in the rebuilding of other economies through the exporting of these resources. It’s best to pick the areas with current stable job growth with high natural resource reserves.

Areas with 2.5%+ job growth with heavy natural resource reserves and industries:

The culture of where you live can be rather important. To borrow from one commenter, “You need a community. No matter how much of a bad ass you are you have to sleep sometime. It is great to consider things like natural resources and growing conditions, but you also need people with the knowledge to put those attributes to work for the community.” Areas with a high concentration of college graduates can indicate the presence of a college or of other skilled service providers which can potentially contribute to the needs of a community in areas such as healthcare, engineering, agriculture, etc. Areas with a population of at least 20% college graduates would be good.

We have 5 finalists:

Archuleta Co., CO

Hinsdale Co., CO

San Juan Co., CO

Hubbard Co., MN

Highland Co., VA

At this point, let’s eliminate by comparing.

For extra isolation, eliminate Highland County, VA.

For better access to water, rain, and wild game, eliminate Archuleta County, CO.

For a place with less poverty and crime, stay out of San Juan County, CO.

At this point the decision for me comes down to the potential for future economic growth and a population that is more wilderness survival conscious, which leaves us our winner….

Hinsdale County, Colorado

I welcome any suggestions from you for additions, corrections, or edits to help accurately improve the results I have found and will perhaps make updates to everything based on them in the future.

How Many September 11ths Has The United States Caused In Other Nations Since WWII? (US Government Has Killed More Than 20 Million People In 37 “Victim Nations” Since WW2)

The “U.S. government” is comprised of a wide variety of different people, many of which are good and decent human beings. So this obviously does not represent everyone who works in the government. More importantly, this does not represent U.S. citizens either, so please do not fall into the trap of defending the crimes of your government, because you feel yourself personally under attack. Identify yourself with integrity, humanity and Truth, not a criminal government or group.

After the catastrophic attacks of September 11 2001 monumental sorrow and a feeling of desperate and understandable anger began to permeate the American psyche. A few people at that time attempted to promote a balanced perspective by pointing out that the United States had also been responsible for causing those same feelings in people in other nations, but they produced hardly a ripple. Although Americans understand in the abstract the wisdom of people around the world empathizing with the suffering of one another, such a reminder of wrongs committed by our nation got little hearing and was soon overshadowed by an accelerated “war on terrorism.”

But we must continue our efforts to develop understanding and compassion in the world. Hopefully, this article will assist in doing that by addressing the question “How many September 11ths has the United States caused in other nations since WWII?” This theme is developed in this report which contains an estimated numbers of such deaths in 37 nations as well as brief explanations of why the U.S. is considered culpable.

This guide below can help you in a survival situation

Guns have been referred to as “the great equalizer,” and there’s no weapon which can come close to them in that regard.

A lot of the popularity of firearms is due to the fact that anyone can use them effectively, not only the strong and agile. The young, the old, men, women and child can take up firearms in defense of home and family and do so effectively.

But what do you do if you can’t use a gun – or if you don’t have a gun — to protect yourself?

The causes of wars are complex. In some instances nations other than the U.S. may have been responsible for more deaths, but if the involvement of our nation appeared to have been a necessary cause of a war or conflict it was considered responsible for the deaths in it. In other words they probably would not have taken place if the U.S. had not used the heavy hand of its power. The military and economic power of the United States was crucial.

This study reveals that U.S. military forces were directly responsible for about 10 to 15 million deaths during the Korean and Vietnam Wars and the two Iraq Wars. The Korean War also includes Chinese deaths while the Vietnam War also includes fatalities in Cambodia and Laos.

The American public probably is not aware of these numbers and knows even less about the proxy wars for which the United States is also responsible. In the latter wars there were between nine and 14 million deaths in Afghanistan, Angola, Democratic Republic of the Congo, East Timor, Guatemala, Indonesia, Pakistan and Sudan.

But the victims are not just from big nations or one part of the world. The remaining deaths were in smaller ones which constitute over half the total number of nations. Virtually all parts of the world have been the target of U.S. intervention.

The overall conclusion reached is that the United States most likely has been responsible since WWII for the deaths of between 20 and 30 million people in wars and conflicts scattered over the world.

To the families and friends of these victims it makes little difference whether the causes were U.S. military action, proxy military forces, the provision of U.S. military supplies or advisors, or other ways, such as economic pressures applied by our nation. They had to make decisions about other things such as finding lost loved ones, whether to become refugees, and how to survive.

And the pain and anger is spread even further. Some authorities estimate that there are as many as 10 wounded for each person who dies in wars. Their visible, continued suffering is a continuing reminder to their fellow countrymen.

It is essential that Americans learn more about this topic so that they can begin to understand the pain that others feel. Someone once observed that the Germans during WWII “chose not to know.” We cannot allow history to say this about our country. The question posed above was “How many September 11ths has the United States caused in other nations since WWII?” The answer is: possibly 10,000.

Comments on Gathering These Numbers

Generally speaking, the much smaller number of Americans who have died is not included in this study, not because they are not important, but because this report focuses on the impact of U.S. actions on its adversaries.

An accurate count of the number of deaths is not easy to achieve, and this collection of data was undertaken with full realization of this fact. These estimates will probably be revised later either upward or downward by the reader and the author. But undoubtedly the total will remain in the millions.

The difficulty of gathering reliable information is shown by two estimates in this context. For several years I heard statements on radio that three million Cambodians had been killed under the rule of the Khmer Rouge. However, in recent years the figure I heard was one million. Another example is that the number of persons estimated to have died in Iraq due to sanctions after the first U.S. Iraq War was over 1 million, but in more recent years, based on a more recent study, a lower estimate of around a half a million has emerged.

Often information about wars is revealed only much later when someone decides to speak out, when more secret information is revealed due to persistent efforts of a few, or after special congressional committees make reports

Both victorious and defeated nations may have their own reasons for underreporting the number of deaths. Further, in recent wars involving the United States it was not uncommon to hear statements like “we do not do body counts” and references to “collateral damage” as a euphemism for dead and wounded. Life is cheap for some, especially those who manipulate people on the battlefield as if it were a chessboard.

To say that it is difficult to get exact figures is not to say that we should not try. Effort was needed to arrive at the figures of 6six million Jews killed during WWI, but knowledge of that number now is widespread and it has fueled the determination to prevent future holocausts. That struggle continues.

Who Survives and Who Dies When the SHTF? (Top 10 Causes of Your Demise)

Death in and of itself is a scary proposition.

cemetery

As humans have struggled to understand death they’ve created stories, religions, gods, and underworlds to explain the unknown.

Every civilization has both worshipped and feared death.

But no matter what happens in the afterlife, one thing is irrefutable … death is inevitable.

And if – or when – Shit Hits The Fan (SHTF) it’s almost guaranteed that there will be a lot of death.

Do I wish that everyone could survive a doomsday SHTF cataclysmic event?

Well that’s a loaded question that you probably don’t want answered.

Now back to the topic of how you’ll die …

I’ve put a little thought into the topic of how people will die when SHTF and I’ve come up with the top likely causes of death after a doomsday type event. Keep in mind there are many different scenarios for a SHTF event, and I’m no Nostradamus … but I’ll try.

Top Causes of Your Demise:

  1. People who don’t value your life as much as you do.

When social chaos ensues, and the rule of law is thrown to the wayside it’s likely that there will be a lot of killing. Even if it doesn’t start right away people will get desperate and will likely kill for just about anything. I’d like to think I’d never kill for a snickers bar … but who knows when it’s a life or death situation.

Plus when society breaks down people will do whatever they want with little regard to the value of human life. Violent deaths at the hands of others will become commonplace. We’ve been controlled for our whole lives, get rid of that control and people are going to act out in crazy ways.

  1. Starvation and dehydration for the masses.

Starvation and dehydration will be very common causes of death in a doomsday situation. The food supplies are limited. Hell, when you think about it the grocery store is wiped out in one day when a decent snowstorm is on the way. Imagine a situation where there is no re-supply!

Plus once the bottled water, or other clean water supplies are depleted people may struggle with finding enough water to survive. In some parts of the world water is already hard to come by.

  1. Disease will run rampant.

Think you have a healthy immune system? Just wait until there is no waste disposal or easily obtained medical attention. After an event it should be expected for diseases and conditions we’ve forgotten about to come back with a vengeance.

Scurvy, plagues, tuberculosis, smallpox, cholera, influenza, malaria, measles, pneumonia, typhoid fever, and yellow fever are just a few of the killer bugs that we’ve grown unconcerned about.

  1. Suicide may become an everyday thought.

I got hooked early on with AMC’s series The Walking Dead. And they don’t really shy away from the topic of suicide. There have been many, many episodes where they show the aftermath a suicide, or murder/suicide scene in order to turn up the emotional dial.

In an apocalyptic situation there are likely many who will choose to take the easy way out. Will you be one?

  1. Infections from minor injuries.

If you have a minor accident today that results in a little injury you likely aren’t that concerned. A simple bandage and antibiotic ointment usually will have you patched back up in no time. And if it doesn’t heal well there’s always readily available medical treatment.
bandage
But if you can’t properly treat a wound and keep it clean it’s easy for an infection to set in. A simple wound infection can fester and lead to a total body infection that can quickly lead to death.

  1. A simple fever.

Looking through old death records from the turn of the century should definitely inspire any prepper to learn to treat simple illnesses such as the cold. But back then many death records just listed “fever” as cause of death.

Recently on a road trip my wife and I stopped by a civil war site and found an old cemetery from that period. On one of the gravestones it simply said “Baby Girl, died of fever” and then listed the date of 1865.

  1. Instant Vaporization or agonizing painful slow death from radiation.

During the late 1950s through the 1960s the cold war was in full swing. And families all over the United States were preparing for the possibility of a nuclear attack. The reality really sank in with the Cuban Missile Crisis.
fallout-shelter-533163-m
Nuclear fallout bunkers and fallout shelters were commonplace. In the downtown area of Greenville, TX, the county seat for my county there are fallout shelter signs still visible in the courthouse and the walls of random buildings. Bunkers are making a comeback.

If you’re close enough to the epicenter then you’ll be lucky enough to be instantly turned into dust. But if you’re far enough away to survive initially you may get radiation poisoning and suffer a slow painful death.

  1. Human Kibbles

If society breaks down and the lights go off the night will once again belong to the wild. But it’s not a high statistical chance that a wild animal will get you.

The biggest concern about becoming animal food after SHTF is the formerly domesticated animals. Dogs that turn feral can be extremely aggressive – especially when starving – and don’t have as much fear of humans. Granted over time this threat should lessen as the dogs starve to death.

  1. Cannibalism

During times of extreme famine it’s not uncommon for people to consume the flesh of other humans. Scientists who have studied cannibalism have even ingested human flesh to understand cannibalism better. Human flesh is said to taste much like veal, but just a little stringier.

Cannibalism is still practiced today in some of the most remote corners of the world but usually because of a religious or societal belief.

Desperation is why I think cannibalism could be a threat when SHTF.

In Russia and the Ukraine in the early 1920s there was a far reaching famine and for many people cannibalism became the only way to survive.

So in a post-apocalyptic society beware of people who may want to eat you! They will be the true flesh-eating zombies.

But How Will I Die?

Of course I don’t plan on dying. I have plans and careful preparations put in place. I’d like to die of advanced age peacefully. But the most likely scenario I see for my death is the threat of other humans who want what I have. I won’t go down without a fight however.

The other most likely scenario would be from illness. With little to no access to modern medicine it’s a good chance that’s what’ll get me if something does.

How do you think you’ll die after SHTF? Are there any likely possibilities I’ve missed? Let me know by commenting below.
